Incoming SA in Tinder Bio?

Hi All,

Just received and accepted a SA position at an top tier BB in NYC (think GS/MS/JP).

Was wondering if it's acceptable to mention that I am an 'Incoming Summer Analyst' in my tinder bio.

I come from a non-target and have a 3.8 GPA if that helps.

Thanks

no...bad idea. however, if you want to flex, you must do it in a "low key" way. also...never say you are an intern or temporary worker...if they pay you a paycheck, then you "work for goldman". if they ask what you do, then you can say "typical investment banking stuff - M&A, capital raising, that kind of stuff." then quickly change the topic, because nobody wants to hear about how you format fonts on powerpoint pitch decks.

i would say in my bio

"on the quest to find the best slice of thin crust in NYC - not too soft...not to burnt - work for Goldman Sachs - aspire to be a surf instructor in costa rica and run my own surf shack - have never surfed...will probably drown - help me"

sure but make sure to say that the BB is top tier. they won't be as interested if they think that you might be at a lower tier BB.

Yup. Mention relevant mating stats such as non-target vs target, tier of the bank you're working at, expected adj. class ranking (the addbacks are up to you!), and definitely expected summer comp with listings of bars you are able to afford for your date (Phebes etc) and mention bars you explicitly think aren't frat (the aviary, broken shaker, top of standard etc). Assert, assert, assert.
