The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.
 

Look at Brandon Beachy or Jose Altuve. Both were thought of as people who could have never played baseball (Beachy went undrafted, Altuve physically looked as if he did not have the making of a baseball player). Both in the majors.

Also, Red Soxs suck.
