Do any of you have a boss that starts talking to you while your on the phone? I can be in the middle of a conference call or talking to a c-level exec and my boss literally walks into my office and starts talking like there is no call, it's kinda weird. It's not that they are a social retard - they are - it's that I don't even get a chance to ask people to hold or hit mute. I dislike their general management style to begin with, but this one thing really annoys me to no end. Does anyone else see this or is it something I just have to learn to deal with better?

I had this problem in a previous job, and one day I asked him if he'd like me to come into his office and interrupt his calls, he said no, so I told him that I would appreciate if he didn't and if he needs me, he can email/im me and I'll go see him after my call.
Also, it helps to have an ear piece, just get up and start walking somewhere else. Double benefit of not getting distracted and pissing them off.
