"Confessions of an Economic Hitman" by John Perkins is a book most of you have (or should) read. It provides a great context for what the global economy is and how it functions. Good book. Dated but good. thx. It's too bad that jobs like that don't really exist anymore (welcome anyone to prove me wrong)

I was under the impression that most of this book was fabricated or embellished? There are a lot and I mean A LOT of people who say to disregard it from all camps. BUT I also hear (granted I have not read it) that it is a pretty entertaining read - think A Million Little Pieces. Fake, but entertaining.
