"Investment bankers are 'obsessed' with classical music"

Came across a statement by 2013 Economics Nobel Prize recipient Robert Shiller about how investment bankers frequent symphonies and joked about how they are "trained" in classical music.

Wanted to know if there are any truth to this, how is classical music perceived nowadays?

I personally love classical music, probably cuz I grew up learning how to play classical instruments. People need to relax with being snobby with it, such a weird thing to flex. It's music, I like what my taste goes for, and that's all. Doesn't make me any better or others worse.

Especially, in the modern day, I can just open Spotify and listen to anything I want. Its no longer required to buy expensive tickets to the symphony.
