iPad Pro as laptop replacement

Getting my bonus soon and thinking of replacing my old MacBook Air and iPad 6th gen for a iPad Pro with keyboard.

Anyone done this before? If so are you glad you did? Mainly worried about no longer having a laptop, unless the iPad Pro replaces that completely

I have a personal macbook and an ipad pro w keyboard, and i never really use my macbook since im on my work laptop all day (and night) but when im not, i always reach my ipad since i like using it more (esp in my bed) and fits my needs (just use it to watch media, read stuff, etc so dont have much need for my mac)

tbh the pro is so useless except for the 120hz display, m1 chip or whatever, and better cameras/speaker (who gives a shit ) that i dont recommend it unless u actually need these things or want to blow money. id keep ur mac cause personally i like doing some things on my laptop over ipad although ive never tried to do so on an ipad to begin with (visa applications for example)

I have a company issued iPad Pro with the keyboard with the track pad and the Pencil. Is is "laptop replacement" worthy... sorta. But really just for reading docs, emails, and maybe some "editing" work. Personally, for the money my setup costs.... I wouldn't go for it. Is if fun? If you want to burn the $1500+ for the setup and say, fuck it... sure, you will like it, but really I wouldn't get this for my personal setup.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
