Ironing Clothes

Hi, Everyone -

As we all know there's a material difference when sitting down to address a board/investor with a sharp, wrinkle-free shirt you know you either (1) ironed yourself or (2) had ironed the morning of.

Specific to the former, how do most on the forum go about it? Is there a good product on amazon that steam irons, for example, or do most use a traditional ironing board + mangle/ironer?

Thanks all!

Edit/To Avoid further confusion:

Question: For those that iron/remove wrinkles from shirts at home, what product do you use?

Bro take that sh!t to the dry cleaner.

Ha, thing is the shirts are pretty clean so it's not entirely worth the cost/time to drop them off or cost of having them picked up.

You know, a shirt you wore once in an air conditioned office all day is fine - just needs a slight touch up for minimal wrinkling, thus looking to identify the right product.

If you're wearing a suit, you can barely tell if the shirt is wrinkled. Most important aspects of shirts are having clean crisp collars (no buttons).

I usually iron 5 shirts Sunday night so that I don’t have to worry about it during the week. I use a regular iron board and iron. Key is to have it on max heat and always filled with water.

Same here, this is why Sunday night became my least favorite part of the week. No matter how many shirts I've ironed, I hate it just the same.

For the most crisp shirts, if you're going to iron at home, turn the shirt inside out and spray light starch. Then turn it back the normal way and iron. The iron pulls the starch through the fabric.

I have 10 to 12 shirts and take them to the dry cleaner every 10 to 15 days.

Some I wear only once, others twice if not too wrinkled and if I've been all day in an air conditioned setting

When you take a shower in the morning hang your clothes in the bathroom. The steam from your shower will help remove the wrinkles. You can also use a blow dryer with warm air to smooth them out. I've used both methods when traveling and staying in a hotel.
