Is dating in NYC as good as everyone says it is?

Moving to NYC from another city (think Chi, SF, Dallas) and have never had too much of a problem dating but have heard from many people that NYC is significantly better if you’re a straight dude with reasonable means. What does that look like in reality out of curiosity?

Yes, best city in the world to meet people. You'll meet people alllll the time.

from what I've heard the cultural shifts are hard for new yorkers who value money and the hustle too much. dont be that guy; find what the culture is so you know how to provide value wherever you go , and you'll be fine
