I live in a neighborhood subdivision. Rabbits everywhere. I've had rabbit once or twice in restaurants. Good source of protein. Is it legal to kill a wild rabbit if it's on my property? I'd probably trap it since shooting it would be illegal in my neighborhood. I could say it was self defense.
Anyone else ever hunted wabbits?
Any suggestions on skinning it and cooking it?

I would probably start by digging a 6’ deep pit in your yard. With a machete, sharpen young bamboo shoots to a point. Cover the pit with a flimsy structure covered with loose debris to cover the stick. This is hunting with punji sticks.
