Is pet insurance worth it?
I got coverage for my kitten for $28/month but it only covers emergencies. “Wellness” visits like vaccinations, spaying are not even covered. $250 deductible plus, 70% reimbursement, and most importantly I think there is a $7,00 maximum annual benefit.
I can handle an unexpected 7k vet bill using savings or credit markets.
Do you have pet insurance? Is it worth it? Have you ever bothered to model it?

This is definitely a personal preference topic, and really depends on how important your pet is to you, the type of pet you have, and how much you would be willing to spend on an operation (if needed) without insurance.
I personally do not think Pet Insurance is worth it. I would consider it if I had a very expensive pet though.
