Is Stephen Curry top 10 all time?

Fresh off of his 4th NBA title and having captured the evasive Finals MVP award, the question now looms: is Curry a top 10 NBA player of all time?

His resume includes the aforementioned 4 rings, in addition to a finals MVP, 2 MVPs (only unanimous), 8x All-NBA, 8x All-Star, All-Star Game MVP, 2x Scoring Leader, Steals Leader, and All-Time 3PT leader.

I'd say with these credentials, in addition to spearheading the most dominant dynasty in the modern NBA, as well as changing the game as a whole, Curry is comfortably in the top 10. I'm curious to see what others think.

yes, I think the only thing people could’ve said against him was that he didn’t have a finals MVP but this year he shut everyone up

I agree, and I think the biggest reason is your mention of "spearheading the most dominant dynasty." I think an all-time great isn't just being good at the game, though this is obviously important, but developing and leading a team. Curry is more like Duncan in this regard, whereas someone like Durant is an amazing player but not, in my opinion, a top 10 great.

The Warriors were already on the up before Kerr, even if he's been great for their continued development, and while Durant certainly gave them the break they needed, the Draymond, Klay, Steph lineup is an incredible drafted legacy. But of everyone involved, I think it's clear that Steph Curry is the guy who defines the team.

With Curry, the Warriors have won the championship 4x and without him in 2019, they finished in last place in the western conference. I think he is easily in the top 10.  He has the stats but they do not tell the whole story.  If he wanted to score 40 points per game, he probably could do it.  His focus seems to be on winning and he is very good at it.  The exact spot in the top 10 is very subjective.  I think this year's championship raises his position quite a bit, as this years Warriors team had the least talent out of all of his winning teams.

I would also add that he is not finished yet.  He and the Warriors have the potential to win one or two more championships with him.

Yeah. I won't go "GOAT", but the man is beyond impressive and if he keeps it up may very well be.

Long time Warriors fan and I'll add one thing, if you saw how dysfunctional the franchise was before he got there, you wouldn't think twice. Easily top 10

I know that I have playing the role of Curry fan boy but I just happen to respect his greatness as well as his personality.  He is very humble for a mega star.  Heck, I am not even a Warriors fan.  I also find it interesting that he hit his prime later than some of the other greats.  You could argue that Shaq was in his prime starting in his first year.  Curry did not hit his prime until about the fourth year.

He's not better than 4 of them.

Also at least 2 of stephs rings don't count

Why would two of Steph’s rings not count?  I can only imagine what the answer will be. Is it because he played with Durant?
