Is this the end of DB?

Today's FT article gives a good overview of the number of job cuts happening all over DB as they scale back their IB and Trading division in the US.
Deutsche Bank said it plans “a significant reduction in workforce through the rest of the year”
However, it looks like jobs in Germany are safe due to the rigid labor laws. So, after years of decline, is this finally the end of DB as an IB powerhouse? Also, any DB employees here who could shed some light of what is going on currently there?
