Israel and Iran go to war ... how do I play the markets?

Lets assume Israel and Iran are on the brink of war and that I expect something to happen in the next year.

What are going to be some good plays in the markets?

Oy vey. Uh...aerospace/defense. Perhaps consider buying LMT and UTX.

Short TA-25 stocks until it looks like Israel/US are likely to be victorious. Buy oil calls at $100? Sell oil puts, perhaps?

kobaltIf Israel and Iran go to war making money in the markets will be the least of your concerns...

Is that a joke? Iran is going to bypass the world's most sophisticated and most powerful military and launch an attack on U.S. soil, with a few dozen MiG 29's?

Israel will die. The Palestinians will be free. And America will continue to collapse. Period.
