It is just me, or are you as well concerned that Italy is steering away from the EU and towards China? Instead of pushing reforms, using the coronavirus as cover for the more sensitive reforms (privatizations, deregulation etc), they complain about the ESM and loans - even if Italy's suffering a lot from the coronavirus. What do you think of this?

I wouldn't worry about it. The current Italian government is pro-EU liberal-left and is facing economic implosion by the end of the year with no real plan on how to prevent it.
Just watch the shitshow unfold. China is the least of Italian problems.
