It's alumnUS
is it only lil'ole neurotic me or does it annoy anybody else when someone uses "alumni" in singular form? hasn't anybody ever taken elementary latin? the plural of antenna is antennae. alumni is the plural of alumnus (or alum for the less rigid), bacteria is the plural of bacterium. if you can't remember, just use "germ".
i had to post this for some reason, and i hope i won't get flamed too bad for it (right...) oh well, let them come. i am ready.
the singular for douche is 'dagro'
it's mildly annoying, but not enough for me to post like this. go get your grammar nightstick and start beating the hell out of the internets.
.
No I haven't taken elementary latin. I don't know many people who have. But, yes I understand the distinction you are ranting about.
