All races, cultures, and nations have their own quirky, funny shit they do. You have to be willing to laugh at it all and to never use it as a reason to hate or discriminate against anyone else.

For those not famililar, this website has been compiling odd names for a few years now. It started as mostly athletes, (like Yourhighness Morgan, etc) but now has morphed into any and all odd, verifiable names. Many, as your may have guessed, are Afro-american in origin.

He has also had two girls in his school named "Vagina" in 7 years, but hasn't taught either of them.

I knew a girl whose mom worked with babies at a hospital. I kid you not, one mom named her daughter Asshole, pronounced like Ashley. The same mom later named another kid Shithead, pronounced Shi-theed. I read part of Clarence Thomas's book and he met a mom who named her daughter Female because "that's the name the doctor gave her."

Honestly I could give a shit less if its racist, I will still laugh. I actually could care less if people call me racist for it. Its just another useless title I would have. What's hilarious is that some of the kids get PISSED when he has no idea what their name is.
I still laugh every time I think of La-a accusing him of being illiterate because he can't read her name.

I had a grocery store checkout girl named Candida once. Thought it was odd that a parent would name their daughter after a yeast infection.
Funny enough, the whole ethnic name thing is a segment that takes up about one-third of the movie Freakonomics. It's pretty funny, and some of the studies that have been done on the subject are hilarious (as in, who thinks up this shit?).
I actually just watched that movie last week. I thought it was pretty good. The name part is exceptionally entertaining, especially when they just have random people saying the weird/unique names they have heard...which reminded me of my original video, lol.
