Its our time to shine...

I couldn't find a thread on this but I was wondering if there's any advice for the timeline of juniors applying to deferred MBA programs. What does the timeline look like? Do I start studying for the GMAT sophomore year or should I focus on recruiting?

Study for the GMAT the summer between sophomore/junior and junior year winter break. The summer between junior/senior you'll be too busy with your SA. Get college TA spots if you can during junior year or senior year fall to get some good rec letters. If you have spare time during sophomore year you can go ahead and start but the most important thing is to land a good junior summer internship so focusing on recruiting will be more important. You apply to deferred MBAs during senior year of your undergrad.

Solid advice. Thanks! I'm a rising sophomore and I was consider TA positions during freshman year but forgoed it because I wanted to focus on recruiting. Does it matter which department/college I TA in?
