Not sure what you mean by that but this seems like it's deserving of the highest honor possible. I understand they have a reputation of being complete badasses but I think he deserved it. He took on 30 people by himself for god's sake.
i don't know if any of you are aware of the stereotypes of Gurkha warriors... frankly it would have been a bigger surprise if the Taliban had won.
I read up a bit on them after posting this...and I'm getting the same vibe...
I guess he might not have gotten the Victoria's Cross because he didn't save any fellow troops (at least the article didn't mention him saving someone else) which seems to be a criterion for this. Impressive achievement though. That's a MAN right there.
