Hey all - currently a NY BB banker. I don't think I see myself in NY for the longer term, and have been looking at potentially relocating some time down the line. Does anyone have any insight to how LA compares to NY in terms of lifestyle?

our partner firm (one of them) is based in LA. I grew up around LA.
- less of a rush compared to NY
- more laid-back
- different client profiles, especially if involved with media/entertainment/movie business
I had deals in California before and I personally thought they were more fun. Overall deal flow is more if in tech (well, except not at all times due to the economy), more in TMT, but less in other areas.
Could imagine relocating to California.
