LIC as AN1
I was in a shitty East Village walk-up in Alphabet City, and while going out was fun, I didn't enjoy the area as much as I had assumed. Most people ended up Ubering back to other parts of the city, so living nearby didn't matter. Interning at a sweatshop didn't help either.
Going into FT, I was thinking about living in LIC because my office is in Midtown. My commute would be pretty quick, in 15-20 minutes, and the apartments are so much nicer than anything in the UWS / UES / EV. With IB hours, I will probably just get a comped car back at night. Is it a bad idea?
Also looking for a roommate if anyone else is interested in the area.

Definitely a quiet neighborhood with great transportation option. Nice apartments.
Boring area to live in (IMO) but close access to fun parts of Manhattan / Brooklyn / Queens.
