Live Another Day

You guys been watching this? Holy shit, so fucking good. Possibly best season of 24 yet, but still a little early to say. Between this and Edge of Tomorrow, some of the most thrilling action stuff I've seen on a screen in a while.

SPOILER ALERT

What do you think is the "larger" plot that is typical of a 24 season? I'm assuming it has something to do with Navarro, Adrian Cross, and the Chinese. Also, can't wait till Jack bangs Kate Morgan...bow chicka wow wow.

Edge of Tomorrow was awesome. Great action, great performances from Cruise and Blunt, and I really liked the humor scattered throughout the film. It received near universal praise from critics but performed horribly at the box office this past weekend. Makes no sense to me. Is Tom Cruise not the draw he used to be?

Tom Cruise has been steadily losing marketability in the US for a while now (things like scientology, Katie Holmes divorce etc have hurt his image). He is still hugely popular overseas and the movie topped the international box office when it came out, it just underperformed in the US

Tom Cruise's PR definitely took a hit, the man can still act tho. I think his age is also a factor to the type of audience he attracts.
