[London] Best places for Eyeglasses / Frames ?
I can't be the only one who really really struggles with the choice of frames when it's time to buy new eyeglasses. It's that time again. Does anyone have recommendations for shops to visit where you can get great advice on which frame to pick? One could argue frames are more important than our phones so it's kind of a big decision. I want to visit a shop where the customer service is genuinely great and they'll help me make the right choice. Help a brother out. thx
You’ll want to go to an eyeglass boutique, not one of the chain stores. They staff genuine experts who will know how to “fit” someone for glasses.
David clulow / Ace & Tate - (any central london outlet) both have really good customer service, you can try out different frames and get recommendations. Make sure to take some selfies with the glasses for reference later. Then you can either buy in store / online. I viewed frames in person and then ordered Oliver Peoples online (based on the correct shape/color/fit for me).
Next best / expensive option is to hire a fashion consultant lol.
E.B Meyrowitz think they’re the best out here. They’ve been doing bespoke since 1875 and have pretty upscale clients such as dukes and famous sports figures
Why not do a internet search? Oxford Street, Bond Street are some places.
Depends on budget right? Ace and Tate is sweet spot on quality, designs and service. Really happy with them
