London Housemate - October 2012

Any WSO monkeys based in the UK currently looking for a housemate for late September / early October start? Rent something in the region of £150-170 per week each and in Zone 1 / very close Zone 2 (Central Line ideally). Can be a student / full time / intern etc.

PM me if interested.

Asatar£150 in zone 1 is definitely possible with sharing - friend of mine is doing it for £160 and he knows he overpaid. Working in the City and need 30 minute or less commute time so looking basically anywhere on the DLR, Central Line, Circle Line or Northern Line.

That dude with £150, assuming he's living somewhere nice and not a dump (e.g barbican), has had a stormer.

In all honesty, GO WEST!! From someone who lives in a lovely place in-between CW and the City it's crap. Young people that live in london either live North (Angel etc) or South West (the usual suspects, South Ken. Clapam, Fulham). Living east you can't go for a casual wander (unless in Shoreditch) and find something interesting or a nice place to be. None of the royal parks are east, Greenwich is so far from anything. It's just not worth it.

He's in Shoreditch, about a 5 minute walk from Liverpool Street. Location-wise it's a fantastic deal but the house he's in is a bit dodgy (pretty sure it's a recently converted warehouse). I'll have a look further west as well, hadn't really thought of that, thanks!
