The fact that this girl has a "serious boyfriend" who is fine with her "taking off for nearly a month at Christmas with a random guy," makes me feel really terrible for both dudes.

Lonely dude can't hold hands with the chick, boyfriend is afraid she'll cheat, girl gets two guys and free tickets to tour the world. This is why I need feminism

:) that's a pretty good summary...i'm not sure nothing will happen on tour

Pretty terrible decision-making on his part. First, you don't really know someone until you travel with them so even the hottest, seemingly coolest girl ever can easily turn in to the spawn of satan three days in and completely ruin your life for the duration of the trip. Second, why would you tie yourself to one snatch when you can easily play the "my girlfriend broke up with me right before I took her on a trip around the world" card and get pity sex from almost certainly more than one girl? Horrendous risk/reward profile.

Haha and that's the other side to view things.
