Looking for hosts for upcoming WSO meetups

We're looking for 1-2 WSO members to help organize WSO meet ups / happy hours. Email me (Andy at wallstreetoasis dot com) if you're interested and we can get an event on the calendar.

Cities that need a host: Toronto, Singapore, Hong Kong, Paris, Boston, DC, LA and SF.

Responsibilities of the host

  • Pick a location, date, time
  • Make a reservation if necessary
  • Arrive 15min early to the event to make sure you have a spot
  • Announce in the chat where the group is located

Once we get an event up on the calendar the goal is to have one every month around the same time (e.g. third Thursday of the month).

Join the WSO chat for your city.

Regarding LA, I can't host this stuff with the logistics, but I will attend if it's in Century City. In the past WSO LA meetups in the past have been organized in Santa Monica or DTLA at like 4:00. I guess if the idea is to just get students to network with each other it's fine.

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.
