looking to improve my dating lifetime, will need a lot of help

Hi there,I'm writing this post, as I am struggling for ages to get to know women, I dunno if it has something connected with myself, or if it is merely because of nasty luck.

I am hanging out close to two to three times each week, generally to night clubs and pubs, It is quite hard for me, considering that I'm not really the sort of guy who's famous for how sociable or outgoing he is. I felt fairly awkward and distressed, in fact it is definitely difficult to me (much more) to chat in those kinds of enviroment with all the gals, even thought, I've done it, I never had gotten very much succes, can you fellas give me some assistance?

Do you have many friends (more importantly friends with girlfriends and/or girl friends)? If so use them, regardless:

  1. I challenge you to stop watching porn for just 4 weeks. It will change your perspective on women.
  2. A couple movies to watch: American Gigolo, Scent of a Woman, Catch Me If You Can - if i think of more I'll reply again.
  3. Don't talk about yourself, nobody cares. Ask them questions, but nothing where they have to think too hard. That's not a sexist thing, nobody likes thinking after 2 drinks.
  4. Be direct, but not immediately. Keep it light (try some humor and a smile) initially so they feel comfortable around you, later on, go for the kill shot.
  5. Be confident. If you're not, fake it... but watch the line between confident and cocky. a cocky guy in finance trying to pick up chicks at a bar is too cliche.
  6. Have a good playlist you listen to.
  7. As my username suggests, it's all a numbers game. I challenge you to fail and fall flat on your face. The first time it happened to me, it was liberating, and nothing was ever the same. When you fail miserably, and realize that absolutely nothing happened except you were at the same spot you were 2 minutes ago, it frees you.
  8. Don't talk too much. If you're silent they'll say something, probably something stupid which gives you a little edge.
  9. Don't try to be someone you're not. don't lie.
  10. Regarding the kill shot: Be simple, direct, and indirect at the same time. What I mean is, don't say 'wanna go fuck at my place'. That's simple and direct. 'Wanna get out of here?' is simple, direct, and indirect.

Oh, and never offer to buy a drink, as an opening line. If she talks to you for 10 minutes, fine. Also never use dumb openers, (i.e. 'hi have you met my friend ___', 'I love you', 'what's your sign', "wanna dance', 'hey can i get you a drink?')

I find the best openers are the simplest. 'Hi I'm ___', 'How you doing?' *response* 'Doing ok, what are you all up to tonight? Looks like trouble.'.

Hope my wine and cigarette laden answers help. Good luck in the hunt ;)
