Los Angeles Clubs

Can anybody recommend a good club to go to on a Thursday in Los Angeles? We will be two guys and one girl. A classy place, not too pretentious, where you don't have to get a table to get in. We most likely be dressed smart casual.

Music: House, electro, mainstream

Any insight highly appreciated.

What do you want your tab to look like at the end of the night?

Nobama88Need to be a bit more specific with area. Los Angeles is huge.

My House in Hollywood is House music (obviously). If you like lots of asians, well this is the place. I have only been here a couple times, but the only House place I know.

The Roxbury in Hollywood plays mostly House and Mainstream. A lot of weird fucking dudes here though with way too much money. You can let your girl go wild and pick you two guys up some free drinks from these guys (have no shame). $10-$20 a drink here otherwise.

Hollywood is pretentious all around though, and fucking expensive. I try to stay the heck away from Hollywood.

That is all I can help you out with haha.

If you want laid back bars / clubs (jeans, tshirts, dress casual), then look toward Main Street in Santa Monica or Abbot Kinny in Venice. Both provide a wide range of bars along the street and next to each other.

add avalon, supperclub, playhouse

if you want to go to a classy bar in santa monica, there's really only the penthouse (huntley hotel) and suite 700 (shangri-la hotel)
