Machine learning for finance with python
I'm an interested student on finance and i would like to take some courses this summer , on machine learning for finance using python , to enhance my knowledge .
Can some on suggest something interesting for me please ?
Codecademy maybe? They have a finance option. However it's very shallow so if you already know ML and coding, it probs wouldnt be worth it
The funds that are hiring machine learning backgrounds come from machine learning engineers from apple, facebook, google etc. (which graduated most likely from a top CS program - Stanford, north eastern, MIT, etc). or straight out of undergrad. Maybe you are smart and can learn from codeacademy, but its like how SM hedge funds want 2 year Top IB, and MF PE. They need a filtering process.
