Managing the Economist or articles

Hello WSOers,

I believe that many of you are heavy readers of newspapers to keep abreast of the economy and markets.

For me, I usually read financial times and the Economist. And for the Economist, I have a subscription so I get weekly deliveries of the magazine. The question is, how do you guys manage the information. Do you guys take note of important information in the article in a notebook or search the article and store stuff on MS Word? For me those never worked out so I want to hear from anybody who is more advanced in this than me can shed some light on managing information. Today, because of moving, I had to throw out at least 30-50 Economist magazines...Thank you.
