Yea, if only wolfram would give me the answer this app wants. Hoping someone can find an answer that doesn't include "i"
Still not sure why you can't find the answer. Wolfram gives the min, max, and the assymtopes are just values that lines approach, if I remember correctly
Use first and second derivative tests. No asym. as continuous function 1st Derivative: 3x^2-6x = 3x (x-2) 2nd Derivative: 6x-6 For X0: Increasing At X=0: Relative max {f''(0)0}, inflection point For 02: Decreasing At X=2: Relative min {f''(2)>0}, inflection point For X>2: Increasing
I got it, stupid mistake kept me wondering wtf I was doing wrong for a half hour
I used to be able to answer this. Idk how the fuck people remember this stuff.
Prolly just took it recently. Either that or they learned it well :-p
DM, why are you doing math? This stuff is beyond GMAT, so you must have some pretty eccentric hobbies, not limited to your knowledge of corporate finance.
