Maximum Total Compensation for 1st year Analyst
Hello mates,
Recently, while searching the WSO for interesting articles, I found an article in which one of our users said that his/her friend made 370K all-in out of college, and almost everyone said that it's impossible.
My question - what is the maximum total compensation for first year analyst straight out of college in IB (any department, any role) ? Your experience, rumors, anything.
Look up Centerview, they pay the most that I have ever come across. I don't know anyone who works there first hand I but I have heard they take in over 150k top bucket for first year.
That's bogus. There is no firm that is paying a kid straight out of college $370K all-in.
Was this pre 2008 when firms were giving out crazy bonuses and pay was a bit higher?
