Go solo travel in Europe, stay in hostels - there are so many solo travelers out there right now and you will meet people quickly. Literally just pack a bag and book a flight somewhere tomorrow, figure out the rest from there. Don't waste this time

I agree with the below, Greece is easy. Santorini, Mykonos if you like to go out. Coastal Italy or the South of France are fun too. You can get between places for very cheap on Ryanair or the like, just book 2-3 nights in a decent looking hostel and figure it out from there.

Most people in Europe speak English, especially in western Europe. the hostels are full of Americans and Brits traveling alone

Easy (and probably correct!) answer is to travel somewhere. I'd ideally find someone to go with but it would also be cool to go alone. My brother travelled to Greece alone and really enjoyed it, although I've never tried.

Personally, for the past year I've been interested in skill acquisition. Like, cooking, instrument, sailing, surfing, skiing, camping, archery, ju-jitsu, swimming, etc.

I don't want to get particularly good at any one skill at this point, but the goal would be if someone at a mid-level wanted to do the activity, I could join and not be a liability. This would just open up a huge part of life for me I think. Then I could choose what to focus on more as I please.

So if I had a month off I'd maybe spend some of it traveling, but I'd really focus on this stuff. Optimizing for when to learn what activity, how many times per day/week to practice, etc.

Someday I'll get there. A few months ago I started trying to pick up the cello

This is probably what I would do. I’d consider doing a big 5-7 day backpacking trip / camping in Yosemite California or someplace I’ve never been, go golfing for a couple days, binge read a book series from my childhood like Lord of the Rings, go to a concert or two, and take same Italian cooking classes.

I also am planning on beating one of my childhood video games in a week or two (Skyrim, Legend of Zelda). Hope that gives you some ideas.
