It's Mardi Gras season, and that had me thinking, what events/festivals (domestic or international) are most overrated?
From the stories i've heard, Mardi Gras would be on the list. Haven't been personally but it sounds like an absolute shit show... though I guess if that's what your heart desires to each his own

Music festivals. Just a bunch of hippies who leave what was a beautiful area literred with trash. The majority of the music sucks so you end up camping with a bunch of opinionated assholes to ultimately see 3 bands that have talent.
