Most Prestigious Addresses or Neighborhoods - Globally

Looking forward to someone who can write better answering this question. This topic is half joking, I am kinda curious to see answers.

In no particular order:

One Hyde Park (Address) - London

740 Park Avenue (Address) - NYC

432 Park Avenue (Address) - NYC

Kensington Palace Gardens (Neighborhood) - London

Tied: UES/UWS (Neighborhood) - NYC

Belgravia (Neighborhood) - London

Bonus:

Trump Tower: More of a honorable mention due to controversy.

9 East 71st Street: Would live here just for the sheer amount of shock it would garner.

Curious to hear from anyone familiar with Arab, Russian or Chinese equivalents.

Didn't include any West Coast addresses or neighborhoods, for some reason I never take business people from there seriously. Like let's be honest what kind of true power player mogul lives and operates in Beverly Hills or Malibu.

Tour Odéon in Monaco

St Jean Cap Ferrat nearby Nice

Anywhere in the 16ème arrondissement of Paris

Sculptura Ardmore in Singapore

MILA in Chicago

Kalorama Heights in DC

Argyle House in LA

I would add the Hudson River-facing side of Manhattan notably around the Lincoln Center

In terms of London, I'd say the most prominent ones you mentioned like One Hyde Park or Kensington Palace Gardens have simply become too strongly associated with London's exceptionally bad problem with dirty money to still be at the pinnacle of prestige. The truly prestigious areas are ones where you get huge detached houses in more low key streets such as the Boltons in Chelsea or Elsworthy road in Primrose Hill (not arguing that other neighbourhoods are free of laundered cash, but at least you get actual families living in those areas, not just some oligarch's empty trophy)

I generally agree on your west coast take. But you can't deny that the entertainment industry is a huge part of the US economy. So, you have to include parts of Southern California, particularly the Triangle in Beverly Hills and the immediate adjoining areas (say 1 mile radius). I'd put that neighborhood up against anything else you can mention around the world.

I used to live in this area and still vacation there when I can. The lifestyle is to enjoy the patio restaurants in town. If you take the combined net worth of the people having lunch on a random Tuesday in the Triangle, you would start to match the GDP of various small countries :)

Woodside in Palo Alto has quite a few UHNW PE/VC people and entrepreneurs.
