Most prestigious grass to touch?

Recently made a post asking for another prestige ranking/tier list and was told to “touch grass”, and wanted the follow through. Trying to figure out what type would be most prestigious and give me the best longterm career opportunities. Would anyone judge me if I touched a lower-tier grass? Been doing some research but wanted to get the WSO opinion. Thoughts?

The cost of grass can vary depending on several factors, including the type of grass, quality, availability, and geographical location. Here are some of the most expensive types of grass used for various purposes:

1. **Zoysia Grass**: Zoysia grass is known for its fine texture and durability. Varieties like "Emerald Zoysia" and "Zeon Zoysia" are among the more expensive types of grass due to their beautiful appearance, drought resistance, and slow growth, which reduces maintenance needs.

2. **Bermuda Grass**: Some hybrid Bermuda grass varieties, like "Tifway 419," can be relatively expensive. They are valued for their ability to withstand heavy foot traffic, making them suitable for sports fields and golf courses.

3. **Bentgrass**: Bentgrass, especially "Creeping Bentgrass," is often used for putting greens on golf courses. Its fine texture and high maintenance requirements contribute to its higher cost.

4. **St. Augustine Grass**: St. Augustine grass is a warm-season grass that is often more expensive due to its lush, green appearance and tolerance to heat and humidity. It's commonly used in upscale residential landscaping.

5. **Kentucky Bluegrass**: High-quality Kentucky Bluegrass varieties are appreciated for their dense, fine texture and rich green color. They are often chosen for premium lawns, adding to the overall cost.

6. **Seashore Paspalum**: Seashore Paspalum grass is known for its salt tolerance, making it suitable for coastal environments. Its expense is driven by its ability to thrive near saltwater and maintain an attractive appearance.

7. **Buffalo Grass**: Buffalo grass is a warm-season grass known for its low water requirements and a native feel. Some varieties like "Bison" are more costly due to their quality and appearance.

8. **Perennial Ryegrass**: Certain Perennial Ryegrass varieties are expensive because of their fine texture and quick germination, making them suitable for overseeding on golf courses and lawns.

9. **Fescue Grass**: Fine Fescue grasses, such as Chewings Fescue, are known for their shade tolerance and fine appearance. High-quality fescue varieties can be more expensive when used for upscale residential landscapes.

10. **Centipede Grass**: Centipede grass is appreciated for its low maintenance requirements and drought tolerance. Although it is generally more affordable than some other grass types, premium varieties can be relatively expensive.

The expense of these grass types often depends on the quality and availability of specific varieties, as well as the location where they are being planted. It's important to consider factors like climate, maintenance requirements, and aesthetic preferences when choosing the right type of grass for a particular landscaping or recreational project.
