Kind of jumping off the recent overrated movies thread, but what are movie endings that you think perfectly seal the movie off and make you feel good? For me it's
1) Star Wars: Episode 6, Ewok celebration is easily my favorite ending

4) Edge of Tomorrow

This is expressly against your question, but I find a great satisfaction in movies with the bleakest of endings. Definitely at odds with the Ewok scene for sure. Examples available upon request.
While it isn't a movie, The Clone Wars Season 7 finale is a perfect example of this. Also, you don't have a heart if Ewok celebration doesn't boost your mood.
I'm not saying that I don't like the Ewok celebration. I'm fine with them banging on a bunch of dead stormtroopers' helmets. I'm just saying that there's such a thing as endings that "hurt so good," at least to me. Just absolutely soul-crushing stuff, but it fits in really well with the movie or is well thought-out.
