Moving Back to NYC

are you all thinking of moving back or have moved back yet? I’m at a BB and it seems unlikely we will be back in the office before 2021. Is it worth being in the city vs saving 6 months rent and being bored as hell at home (personally parents live past the suburbs of a major city on the east coast, ~45 mins from the city)? curious to see how people are thinking about it given the case counts have remained so low in NYC

Come back if you want homie. I was out all weekend with a few friends and people are everywhere. Restaurants are serving outside seating, lots of walk up type bars, people chilling in parks and stuff. And that's considering a weekend which seemed like a majority of Manhattan was out of town.

It's up to you on what you think is best, but there are plenty of things to do if you choose to come back.

  1. Don't live with your parents
  2. Move to NYC if you want

I'm heading back in September. Gives me about 4 more paychecks where I'm saving 70% and I'm out. Going crazy living with family.
