Just somewhat curious. I'm about to start in 3 weeks and there is no mention of a drug test? Does anyone know if MS drug tests at all?
I'm a little paranoid since my suitemate smokes a lot (seriously, like 10 hits a day) and I'm afraid of second-hand smoke making me fail the test...

Multiple test have shown that failing a test because someone else is smoking is nearly impossible. Unless you are just hanging out and hot-boxing a car with the guy, I wouldn't worry.

The Journal of Analytical Toxicology did a study on this not too long ago.

Basically, it says that for a urine test at a threshold of 50 ng/mL, you're fine.
"Immunoassays employing a cutoff concentration of 50 ng/mL, as recommended by the SAMHSA Mandatory Guidelines for Federal Workplace Drug Testing Programs produced negative test results (99.6% negative) with the single exception for one assay (EMIT II)"
Even for the people that tested positive at 20 ng/mL, they were in a sealed room with someone smoking for an hour. With proper ventilation, the number of positives drop to zero.
"No participants in Session 3 produced specimens >20 ng/mL of THCCOOH demonstrating the important effect that room air ventilation had upon lowering exposure and intake of THC by non-smokers."

For context, I will be working in corporate finance, and have already completed my background check, as well as other hiring paperwork, however there was no mention of a drug test, and the start date is rapidly approaching.
