All I can tell you is, looking back, things aren't quite as grave as you might think they are. Unless your situation involves devastating health to yourself or loved ones, basically everything else is a learning opportunity and a chance to reset. Even in the health area many things can be overcome. I'll admit when going through the hard challenges, things feel dire, but life goes on.

What's important is to gain clarity on what matters to you. I mean what REALLY matters. making MD by 35 doesn't really matter. Not getting in to H/W/M/S/B MBA doesn't really matter. At most they are setbacks. One thing the IB prototype person needs to understand is that, unlike the structured track that IB appears to be in UG, life is not a straight line. Many twists and turns completely out of your control. How you navigate them is up to you and is what makes life interesting. During your working life, markets will appear and disappear, large companies will go away, pandemics will change the world in an instant. Think about what you really want to accomplish and based on your situation, what are the best tracks to do that? There's no real formula and here's a little secret, as much as we like to think we are in control...there's lots of luck involved (good timing vs. bad timing).

Success is getting back up after each failure. You only lose when you stop trying. Just keep going.
