Need a roommate NYC (Starting July 2014)

I'm starting full-time and I need a roommate. Here are some details:

City: NYC
Office Location: Midtown
Preferred Areas: Midtown (East, West), Murray Hill, Gramercy, LES, UES...overall pretty open as long as it's near a subway
Start Date: Late July
Lease Start: Prefer early July (open to suggestions)
Position: FT Analyst; IBD
Total Roommates: 2 (Male or Female)
Gender: Male
Budget: up to $1500 each (lower is better)

Currently live there. It's relatively cheap, however it's: generic, lots of older people and families, not very diverse, a pain in the ass if you want to go to Brooklyn or anywhere east/west (have to take 4,5,6 everywhere, and they only go up and down so you have to transfer), and just overall boring IMO. Just look at a subway map and you'll get the picture a little.
