-Ari Shaffir just dropped a 2-part special today. He actually recorded it before he went on his hiatus from society. -Dave Chapelle’s new 2-part special is a fucking gem. Dude is so real and non-PC, but not trying to be edgy about it. We nonverbally bonded over having Filipino wives as well (mine’s half). He’s like, ‘You always see me at these Filipino events. People think I’m picking up pussy, but I’m just dropping some off!’ -John Mulaney is hilarious. Comes off as a boyscout at first but is actually super cool. His latest special, “The Comeback Kid”, is his best. -Theo Von is hilarious on podcasts but his special is weak IMO. -Louie’s last special is objectively funny, but the whole self-deprecating ‘I hate society’ schtick gets old. And he should stop being so goddamn fat and pale. -Bill Burr’s new “Walk Your Way Out” special is a solid 7/10. Don’t expect to be enlightened, but it’s a good laugh. -Trevor Noah is a pandering, unfunny cunt. -Jim Gaffigan is objectively funny, but is too fucking soft to endure. -Norm MacDonald offers a funny, more mature, and somewhat insightful take on society. -Schumer is a fucking walking trash bag that you threw some broken glass out into a week ago and forgot and then stuffed a bunch of vegetable ends in there and it’s been 4 days since that and you go to take it out and it leaks all the way to the door. - The Lucas Bros. – “On Drugs”… Netflix Presents: Black Lives Matter -Tracy Morgan – “Staying Alive” … He’s a fucking gem. We all know this. I hope he’s able to pump out another before his next stroke finally ends his speaking career. -Jim Norton – “Mouthful of Shame”… Funny 7/10, we get it you’re a pervert or whatever, cool bro. I honestly wouldn’t have a beer with him for fear of being Cosby’d. -Neal Brennan – “3 Mics” …. Bro we are not your therapist and you are not funny or famous enough to be pulling this artsy 3 mics hogus bologus. -Ali Wong – “Baby Cobra” … Went a bit hard on the whole ‘I have a vagina’ shtick, but was actually pretty funny. I watched this on accident because it came on auto-play and I was assembling an inversion table and was too terrified of losing my momentum to grab the remote.

This post reminds me I need to check out the new Chappelle special still -- and Norm MacDonald's. Always been a huge fan of the more old school guys. No gimmicks, no contrived edge, just real talk.
Slightly off-topic, but the Comedy Central Roasts on Netflix (if they're still on) were comedic gold. Greg Giraldo (RIP) always brought it. Roast of Flavor Flav was my favorite ("you look like a skeleton wrapped in electrical tape"), and I think the Roast of Hasselhof was the last one I watched. Going to check tonight whether they've put up any of the more recent ones.

These 2 reviews are spot on and I haven't even watched those 2 stand up specials.
If I had to watch just one of these which one would you recommend?
I'd say Chapelle Also, check out the series "Comics" on NFLX. This one dude I'd never heard of is like episode 4 and fucking KILLED. I forgot his name but he's an older black dude wearing a half-zipped leather jacket with no shirt under it. Dude was a Marine sniper for 10 years before comedy.

That means I need to go torrent it and put it on my flash drive and my Xbox may or may not read that file for some reason so then I gotta plug it into the TV itself and change the input for the TV and for the sound system and fuck that noise and I gotta tell my wife to go get something from the other room when I find the torrent so she doesn't see the terabyte of half-downloaded porn I have going and if she won't leave but I really want to watch it now I gotta delete all that porn real quick and now i gotta watch stale porn when she goes on trips
Who's seen Seinfeld's latest (2017) special on Netflix? Related, anyone watched his comedians in cars show?
His latest special was not good IMO. I may have softly laughed twice during the whole thing, but tbf, Seinfeld's standup was never my brand of comedy to begin with (loved his show though).
Yeah I chuckled a few times, but that was better than I got from so many standups lately. Lately, I've just been turning off specials ad thumbs downing as soon as they start talking leftie bullshit or pandering or talking exclusively about race. Like fucking enough of this garbage. Netflix is still showing me them though despite all the thumbs down. That was the first Seinfeld special I've ever watched actually. I watched his show as a kid.

I love that Dave Chapelle still has "it" after his hiatus. One of the funniest stand up comedians ever. I hope he takes a crack at another show (not standup).
I don't know man. I want more Chapelle standup. Chapelle is the fucking man. I love his attitude. He doesn't give a fuck about all this PC bullshit. He just calls it how he sees it. Funny as fuck. Endearing. Good guy but not virtue signaling at all. Again, funny as fuck. Way funnier and way smarter and more clever than a lot of new comics. Has like a deepness and hidden sorrow behind his eyes, but wears a very nice mask of humor. I like him a lot.
