New York for the 1st time

Monkeys,

This weekend will be my first time going to New York and would love for some input from fellow new yorkers in order to make it a good trip. I'm originally from LA so this will be quite the change in scenery for me.

I'll be staying in NYC on Lexington Ave (I believe) and so far am looking to go hit up People's Lounge, 675, Eataly, and the Lower East Side.

Any bars and clubs you guys recommend in the area?
Must try places to eat for NY?
Any good places to shop and grab some awesome clothes without spending an arm and leg?

Really appreciate it!

Thanks,

Bars: The Biergarten at The Standard, Bowery Electric (downstairs a must), The Anchor all favorites Nice Dinner: The Lion

You haven't had food in New York till you've tried the street vendors. Give 53rd st. and 6th ave. a shot if you're adventurous.
