Nice apartment buildings near Grand Central?

Any good recommendations for apartment buildings VERY near (~5 min walk) to Grand Central? Doorman, elevator, gym and in-building laundry would be nice. Thanks guys - lease is up soon

If you want to rent from an owner here are a few condos you might want to consider (not sure how much you want to spend):

1) 425 Fifth Ave (38th and 5th ave) - Fairly new construction (2003) with nice kitchen, etc - Doorman, gym, pool, resident's lounge, outdoor areas 2) 77 Park Ave (39th and Park) - Many of the units have been renovated - Doorman, laundry in building, and big spaces (900-1000 sq ft 1 bedrooms, ~1,300 sq ft 2 bedrooms). No gym though 3) 70 W 45th st (Cassa hotel and residences -- a little further away ~10 min walk) - This one is a little pricey (~$8,000 for 1 bedroom) but it is brand new with all the bells and whistles (if you care about that) - gym, doorman, elevator, washer/dryer, sub zero fridge, etc 4) 212 E 47th St - Recently renovated - doorman, valet, laundry room, gym, and rooftop deck. 1 bd ~$3,000-4,000.

If all else fails and you need more luxury you can always head to 100 E 50th st. for a nice $150K a month you get a 6,000 sq ft pad, not bad right?

You can live inside Grand Central. There is a community of homeless people that made homes in the abandoned sections of the station.
