I'm in toronto so it's not that hot but I am sweating like a maniac when I'm sleeping. Do you at least have a fan? it helps somewhat

30 degrees? You must be fucking freezing.

Don't they shut off AC at the office after say, 7PM. At least that was the case at my office in NYC and also some other IB firms that I know of. In the heat of the summer the analysts were often reduced to working late at night with T-shirts and boxer shorts and of course, lots and lots of iced water.

To the OP, get a fan to blow at you as you sleep and make sure to open all the windows in your room as much as possible. This helps get cooler air in from the outdoors and also helps with air circulation in the room. Also make sure to drink lots and lots of iced cold water and always have cold water nearby.

Which part of Canada are you in? If it is Toronto then the heat wave usually doesn't last too longer at a time so you only need to endure a few days at a time.

Too late for second-guessing Too late to go back to sleep.

Wow, I've never had that issue thankfully. But I'm used to printers being shut off on Saturdays and Sundays, argh.
