Notifications in Red?

Why are notifications on the desktop site (in night color mode at least) now in red? Pretty threatening color choice, I think the yellow was much better. Maybe getting MS should be in red while other notifications are in green/yellow.

Additionally, I think it'd be great if user could mark their notifications/messages as unread, and then the notification count would still show up on the top right of the screen where the notifications dropdown is. This way, users could have a way to remember to come back to something, instead of otherwise having to remember it.

EDIT: quoted text in night mode is harder to read now as the underlying text is a bit lighter, blending in with the quoted section too much

yea lol saw that they changed to red and was like wtf thought it was my desktop nightlight filter shit. WSO really be finding needless ways to be creative fam. Be like PE firms financial engineering jacking up portcos with leverage to the tits and tossing the bomb at each other without actually making operational improvements. Yawnnnn, either actually improve the site (chill with the new mod agenda for starters) or just move on WSO
