Got into running earlier this year and preparing to run my 2nd half marathon and 1st marathon next year. I’m interested in joining a club in Manhattan but I’m not sure which one would be the best.
I’m looking for one with people on the younger side (20s) and relatively social. Let me know if y’all have any experience with any of the clubs!

It is to a NYC running club in the app. Not sure why I got monkey shit for literally providing you the exact thing you asked for lol
I’d recommend Central Park track club. They have people of all abilities, but they do tend to be a bit more serious about running. They also have a big group and a fair bit of people in their early/mid 20’s.
The NYC 5th Avenue mile each fall is one of my favorite races.
Not sure why the MS - this is an international event. Top runners come to break 4 min. Ambitious amateur runners come to break 5 min. The races are in waves by pro and age group. It is a phenomenal event. I’ve run it 4 times with a top time of 5:19.
You are probably getting MS because that’s an event, not a club. And then to nitpick, the elite men come to break 4, not 5, but I doubt that’s why you are getting MS.

What kind of distance and pace are you targeting? There are clubs for all sorts of levels
Marathon distance and less because I just started running earlier this year. My goal is to eventually improve my pace but at this point it’s not the main focus since I just started.
Try Dashing Whippets, Midnight Runners, or Bridge Runners. I think they work for all paces and it’s a good amount of distance running.
