NYC September Happy Hour: Thur., 9/26 7pm

"Yo Flesh," AndyLouis writes to me the other day. "People want to party; when's the next WSO Happy Hour?" Indeed, it's been a bit of time since the last event!

Join us at our old standby pub, the Galway Hooker, located on 36th Street between 5th and Madison, to meet your fellow simians and down some food and drink. 21+ only, please; mention WallStreetOasis.com at the door, and you'll be directed to the main lounge (open area towards the back of the bar on the right, just before the usual billiards room.

We have a two-hour drink special as soon as 20 of us arrive: $5 beers, wines, and well mixed dranks. Please bear in mind the special starts when 20 of us arrive, so the sooner you get there, the better.

Meetups are always a fun way to meet (and carouse with) other members of the site. Good times are usually had by all, and they tend to go till around 10-11pm (or basically, whenever we feel like ending it). If you're stuck in the office, sneak out anyway, and we can all vouch for you.

If I'm not busy, this may be my first as well, been meaning to go for a while.

I'll be in NYC that night! Down from Boston for another event (which is 1.5 miles away on google maps) - will certainly try to make it out.

FYI everybody, this event date and time is partially a function of my not being able to get tickets to the sold out Carcass show at Irving Plaza. Bastards.

Last round was definitely worth it.

Had a fun time meeting everyone. Looking forward to the next time I can make it down.

I feel more like an idiot. Hopefully I didn't make too much of an ass out of myself. I lost the back of my work phone. No idea how or where.

Also, got home and called the bar because I thought I forgot my jacket there. Looked over, and it was on my bed.
