OJ Granted Parole

OJ Simpson was granted parole today, and could be released by October 1. At this time he would have served the minimum time of his 9 to 33 year sentence for his robbery of sports memorabilia, which he claimed to be stolen from him.

Parole commissioners considered OJ to be low risk in a repeat offence as well as considered his "community support and release plans."

Based on similar cases, his good behaviour, and the fact that his strict sentence did not equate to the crime committed and instead was based on his double murder in 1995, OJ being granted parole was not surprising to most.

  • What are your thoughts? Should OJ have been granted parole based on these circumstances?
  • Are you surprised with the outcome?

Who gives a fuck? Some old athlete got convicted on some BS instead of murder. Capone died in prison for tax evasion. Shit happens all the time. And people get out after 6 years for actual murder these days. That shit is not always life in prison at all. Who gives a fuck. Dude’s gonna go chill and write a book. Have fun bro
