In London it's the equivalent of about $60k (plus a $3-20k bonus depending on performance), I would imagine NYC isn't much different.
Are you sure this is Associate pay? I think BB Ops Analysts are paid a base salary of 65-70K. Associate must be higher.
someone coming in as an associate (i.e 3-4 years experience) only gets £45k?
I'm a trading middle office associate and get about that, but I've only been in the role for 5 months and still have just under 2 years total experience (usually you're an associate after 2 years at my firm)

Thanks for the response. Are bonuses common in operational roles? To be honest I wasn't even expecting to ever receive one. Let alone a 20 thousand dollar one
I can't really say for other bank but at mine it's basically 0-30% depending on your performance (only like 10% get a 20-30% bonus), most get around 10%.
Again, this is in London. A BB in NYC might not give out bonuses, but that would surprise me. Pretty sure everyone from FO to HR gets some sort of financial incentive.
Managed to confirm that bonuses are given out to operations at my firm. Just wanted to quickly bump this post again as I have to sign my letter over the weekend, and I wanted to get another salary so that I can better gauge my offer.
