In a partial food coma after lunch so thought I'd start this thread on maybe a niche topic.
For those of you who have heard of / test driven a NIO, what was your impression? Would you consider buying one?
I've test driven their car in person - it has a touch of high-end feel to it (like a Lexus) but obviously not at the level of Mercedes luxuries etc. Heard stories of bugs (sudden loss of power etc) on social media but have no idea how wide-spread that problem is and whether easy to fix. Their after-sales services are quite comprehensive though (battery solutions and insurance in particular). Have seen more and more of them in Shanghai area but not often spotted in other parts of the country.
Would like to hear your experiences with their products.
